40 Year Itch : Paying With Tears and Pain

In September of 1976, while Roxy Music was on its first of a four year hiatus, Bryan Ferry released an odds and sods sort of compilation named after his UK hit of that year, "Let's Stick Together". The album combines the hit single, his UK#7 EP of covers ( including the Everly Brothers' " The Price of Love", The Beatles' "It's Only Love", Jimmy Reed's "Shame Shame Shame" and Gallagher and Lyle's "Heart on my Sleeve") with five remakes of old Roxy Music tunes, most from the debut album. Chris Spedding joined members of Roxy Music in the studio for a slightly edgier sound.
